The leading cause of the Cold sore virus is HSV virus, which spread due to the infection of the Herpex Simplex.

Generally, there is two types of HSV Virus. First is known as HSV 1 and another is HSV2. Cold Sore are usually caused by HSV 1.

Cold Sore is a contagious disease, which means it can be spread due to contact, oral sex, or any physical touch which may inject the virus into your cells. 

You should avoid the kissing to the person who is suffering from the cold sore. Also avoid eating, sharing utensils, towels and razors.

Both HSV type 1 and HSV type 2 can cause cold sores. But genital herpes is mostly caused by HSV 2

You may get cold sore as late as after 20 days you may come into contact with the virus.

Once the virus may enter you, it may affect any part of the body. Once the virus enters your body, it remains inactive for most of the time, but if triggers make the virus active, it can cause the blisters which may later lead to the cold sore. 

Every person may have just one outbreak and recurrence, but the chances are that it can also happen to you that this problem can occur again and again.

Though this situation happens in rare cases that you got the virus and never got an outbreak,

Once you get strike with any of the HSB viruses, this may damage your nerve cell or may occur again and again.

You may also get herpes simplex virus due to coming in contact with the infected individual.

Traditionally HSV1 occurs above the waist. Like it can occur somewhere on your lips, or this can also happen that it may occur to your mouth and HSV 2 occurs below the abdomen which may occur below the waist like this one is transmitted sores on the genital area.

Like it is possible to have HSV-1 infection below the waist but in rare cases.

Identifying the real cause of the VIrus may help the patient to prevent cold sore recurrence or forcefully remove the factor which may damage the skin.

For instance, if exposure to the sunlight usually precedes cold sore by more then 24 hours, Which means sunlight is the trigger and one should avoid the direct contact with the sunlight or may take prevention which will help him to get away from a cold sore.

Viral infections are also the primary cause of the blisters or cold sore. These include infections with the zoster virus, which is also responsible because it may also cause chickenpox and shingles, and the herpes simplex virus, which creates a cold sore. 

Cold sores usually appear close to the mouth, often on or next to the lips. They may appear to be in the form single blister or cluster of the blister.

Cold Sore blisters can even go away within the week or two. It’s important to avoid popping, scratching or touching the blisters as this can spread the virus to other areas of skin, causing further outbreaks. 

Why Does Cold Sore Coming Back?

Once a person contracts the herpes simplex HSV 1 or HSV 2, it usually causes an initial outbreak of cold sore The virus may remain in the body for the rest of their life, causing new cold sore to form randomly when it reactivates. 

If a person keeps getting a cold sore, there may be an underlying cause. Many other factors is also responsible for the trigger activation and subsequent severe sore outbreaks.
